Listen, I'm going to let you all in on a little secret: you don't need to pay hundreds of dollars for essay help. I've been using a combination of free essay writing service resources for two years, and my GPA has never been higher!

Here's my toolkit:

• Grammarly (free version) – catches my silly grammar mistakes
• Purdue OWL – my Bible for citations and formatting
• Hemingway Editor – helps me simplify overly complex sentences
• My university's writing center – free peer reviews!

Is it technically a free essay writing service? Maybe not in the traditional sense, but these tools have SAVED me. If you're broke like me, don't despair—the resources are out there. You just have to know where to look! Any other free tools I should add to my list?

I came into this thread ready to roll my eyes. I thought "free essay writing service" meant some sketchy site that steals your info. But your list? Actually solid. Purdue OWL literally saved my sociology paper last month when I couldn't figure out APA citations for the life of me.

I'm gonna add one to your toolkit: Google Scholar's "cite" button. It generates the citation in every format. Not always perfect, but it's a huge head start.

Question though—how do you use Hemingway without making your writing sound like a robot? I tried it once and it wanted me to delete every adjective I owned. Thanks for sharing this, seriously.
