I'm knee-deep in my freshman year at The University of Texas, Paso, studying Environmental Science and boy, is it wild ride already! Now don’t get me wrong, UTEP has been good to me so far. But I've been having this nagging thought at the back of my mind about transferring out after two years. Specifically, I'm considering starting off at Paso Community College District before shifting gears and diving into 4-year university. I've got two places topping my list right now Baylor and Texas A&M.
They're both great schools no doubt, but making the pick is tougher than choosing between breakfast tacos and BBQ (which is practically an impossible task if you ask me). So, for anyone who’s had experience with either Baylor or Texas A&M or even starting at community college like Paso Community College District before transferring, could you share your insights? What's the vibe on campus? How about research opportunities in Environmental Science? Or really any tidbits that might help me make this decision?
Mean, Transferring can be as rough as rattlesnake rodeo, so any advice would be much appreciated!
