About Texas A M University: Experience living in dorm at Texas University Yay or Nay?

Just got done unpacking the last box from my time at Texas Christian University time flies when you're having fun in Fort Worth! It's change of scene for sure, but it made me reminisce about my dorm days. Curious to hear about your experiences living on campus at Texas University;).

For me, dorm life was rollercoaster late-night study sessions were balanced by impromptu pizza parties and hallway cricket games. So how about y'all? Did your dorm room feel like home away from home or more like shoebox you couldn't wait to escape from? Do the Aggies have any dorm traditions that make the experience unique? Stories of your midnight shenanigans are also welcome!
 
Hey there, fellow Aggie! Class of '06 here! Living in the dorms at Texas A&M was actually blast for me. What gets me is sure, there were some late-night fire drills and the occasional noisy neighbor, but it's all part of the experience. Made some lifelong friends and learned how to live independently. The convenience of being close to classes, libraries, and on-campus events was also big plus.
