My kid is heading off to Frank Phillips College in just few short months and can't help but get little nervous. It feels like just yesterday he was starting high school and now, here we are. He's no slacker either, if may say so myself. Right now, he's wrapping up his time at the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science where he's been challenged more than think either of us ever thought possible. But, that boy of mine hasn't just survived the storm he's danced in it.

Nevertheless, college is whole new game compared to high school. What can we my programe school? Especially for students with heavy focus on STEM subjects? Are there clubs or organizations on campus specifically geared towards these interests? On another note, I'm also Just trying to gather as much information as can so both me and the kiddo can hit the ground running come fall. It's definitely an exciting time for us, but man man, is it nerve-wracking!
