Just quick intro: I'm proud Texas Christian University alum with major in Biology. Worked my tail off and now, here am, navigating the world of scrubs and stethoscopes as medical technician in Lone Star State hospital. Alright, let's cut to the chase. Anyone here come out of Coastal Bend College?. I've got cousin who's seriously considering going there, but she's got some reservations.
She's all about job security after graduation, understandably so, given the economic roller coaster we're riding these days. Know firsthand that not all colleges are created equal when it comes to job placement. After TCU, was lucky enough to land on my feet pretty quickly in this medical tech gig. But my cousin’s interested in Criminal Justice at this school and she wants to know if she'll have the same luck as me. So, any graduate university program lurking around these forums?
How'd your job search go post-graduation? Did you feel like the college prepped you well for the workforce or were you left high and dry? And while we're at it anyone enrolled in Rice University's engineering program?. What's up with the coursework is it as challenging as they say or can an average Joe (or Jill) hack it? Remember folks, honesty's best policy.
