I've been mulling over this question in my mind for while and thought you guys could share some light. I’m currently chugging along with my graduate degree in Nutrition and Food Sciences at Texas Woman's University. Yes, I'm the kind of person who looks at cheeseburger and calculates its nutritional value rather than just enjoying it. My goal?

To make Texas healthier one plate at time! But Now, don't get me wrong. Sam Houston State University has quite reputation when it comes to criminal justice education. Reckon it’s their Bearkat spirit that infuses students with determination to succeed! But reading about it and living it are two different things, right? So, dear this school alums out there in the wild world of adulthood. Do you think your Criminal Justice degree from this institution has given you leg up in your career? Did those late-night study sessions pay off? What interesting opportunities did it bring your way that you wouldn't have come across otherwise?

Howdy y'all! At Sam Houston State, learning about the value of Criminal Justice firsthand from alumni must be enlightening!

I'm all about preventative strategies in my field too. Have any alumni touched on how their criminal justice degree has helped shape policies for healthier communities in Texas? Excited to hear more about the impact of Texas education pathways! # # # 🌟.

I've got some buddies in CJ at SHSU, and they swear by it. fr the programs there are solid and really set you up for success in the field. I feel your frustration, though.

Sometimes it's hard to see the true value of a degree until you're knee-deep in it. I remember feeling the same way when I started my Emergency Management major at Texas A&M - didn't know what to expect at first, but now I can't imagine doing anything else. So, what do y'all think sets Texas colleges apart when it comes to CJ or Emergency Management programs? And how do you navigate choosing the right school with the best fit for your career goals? Let's chat more about our Texas college experiences and help each other out! Whoop!🙏
