My professor requires at least five academic sources for our next expository writing paper, and I'm panicking.
My topic is the history of skateboarding culture and I have like... two books and a documentary. Where do you guys even FIND academic sources for topics that aren't like, mainstream political issues? I've been searching the library database but everything is either about physics or Shakespeare.
Do I need to change my whole topic? I'm already attached to this one and I have notes and everything. Does anyone have search tips for finding scholarly work on niche topics? Maybe I'm using the wrong keywords? I'm this close to just writing about climate change like everyone else but I really wanted to do something I actually care about.
Help a desperate skater out.
