Howdy y'all!. I'm the mom of Texas State freshman, so believe me when say know thing or two about college jitters. As single parent, managing money and making sure my kiddo gets the education he deserves is quite the rodeo. But, hey, we Texans ain't scared of challenge, right?. In the middle of this storm, we got some good news my boy's been accepted into Trinity University in San Antonio too!. Now, I've done my fair share of research about academics but can't find much about safety and living conditions at Trinity. For those familiar with it, could you help paint picture?. Also, keeping our options open, how does Rice University in Houston stack up when it comes to financial aid?. My son worked his boots off to get here and the last thing we want is finances standing in the way.
