Been meaning to ask about this for while now, but anyone got any tips for incoming freshmen moving into Miner Heights at the University of Texas at Paso? Know few students who're pretty excited (and little nervous too) about kickstarting their college life in UTEP. I'm based out of North Texas myself and have been teaching Sociology here for almost seven years now, so feel kinda responsible helping these kiddos out. Any insights on making their move-in day smoother? Maybe some must-haves they should bring along? What's the lowdown on how meal plans work over there? Honestly, And one more thing, I've heard tell that Miner Heights has sweet view of the Sun Bowl stadium. Any fun stories or unexpected perks living so close to it? Really appreciate any advice y'all could pass along. After all, we Texans gotta stick together, right?
