What unique strategies has Lamar University implemented for online learning during Covid-19?

This ol' Baylor bio prof here has been wondering about our friends over at Lamar University. In these challenging times, I've noticed they've been incredibly adaptive with their online learning strategies. Anyone got the inside scoop on how they're managing it all during Covid-19? They seem to be pretty nifty with their virtual labs and asynchronous lectures. Has anyone experienced this firsthand, or knows bit more? Just one bio nerd asking out of curiosity!

I haven't checked out Lamar University's specific strategies, but I'm curious to hear about their unique approach. Have they incorporated virtual internships or hands-on simulations for Hospitality Management students? At Texas A&M, we've had virtual networking events with industry professionals and even online cooking demos to keep our skills sharp. It's been a rollercoaster, but we're making it work! I've gotta give props to all Texas colleges for adapting so quickly.

The camaraderie among students and faculty here is truly something special. In times like these, it's all about supporting each other and staying positive. 😊

If anyone has insights on how other Texas universities are navigating online learning, please share! I'm always keen on hearing different perspectives and learning from others' experiences.🐂
