I'm interested in the pre-vet track at West Texas A&M. A student review said: “The animal science professors are amazing. They have real-world experience.” Another said: “The facilities are good, but there's competition for internships.” I want to work with large animals, and the location seems good for that. For current students, how hard is it to get hands-on experience? Do you get to work with the university's livestock? Also, how competitive is the program for vet school applications?
