Applying to transfer again. Yes, again. My current school isn't working out. Not a bad school. Just not MY school. Wrong fit. Wrong vibe. Wrong program for what I actually want to do. 
But how do you explain that in a personal statement without sounding negative? Without trashing the place that's technically giving you an education? Without looking like you can't commit?
"I'm seeking a better fit." Too vague. Sounds like I don't know what I want.
"My current institution lacks resources in my field." True, but sounds like I'm blaming them for my problems.
"I've grown and my needs have evolved." That's consultant-speak for "I want to leave."
The real reason is more complicated. I was lonely. I didn't find my people. The classes were fine but not inspiring. I felt stuck. Like I was going through motions instead of actually growing. I need a fresh start. A real start.
But admissions wants positive, forward-looking, excited energy. Not "my last place wasn't great." How do you frame leaving as moving TOWARD something instead of AWAY from something?
