I'm trying to map out my fall Saturdays and need to know when Texas college football teams kick off. I follow multiple programs across the state, and the start dates vary quite a bit this year. Texas and Texas A&M both open at home on September 5—the Longhorns host Texas State , and the Aggies welcome Missouri State to Kyle Field . But some teams start earlier: TCU opens in Dublin against North Carolina on August 29 , and Prairie View A&M kicks off at Tarleton State that same weekend [citation4]. Anyone else planning to hit multiple opening games?

Ok but can we talk about how STACKED the Texas schedule is? Sept 5 Texas State (should be easy), Sept 12 OHIO STATE (playoff rematch energy), Sept 19 UTSA (trap game), then Sept 26 at Tennessee (first trip to Neyland EVER) . Arch Manning's final season is gonna be a rollercoaster. I'm already stressed and it's February.

The A&M schedule also lowkey scary—Arizona State week 2, then Kentucky, then at LSU to close September? Whew. And they get Texas on Black Friday at Kyle . That game might decide the SEC.
